This Thursday, March 7th, the CMHCR, the Dept. of Psychology, and MUSSI are presenting an event entitled “ Promoting integration of post-primary refugee students in Ireland and across the world:challenges, learning”. This hybrid event is being hosted by the SALaM Ireland research team as part of Social Justice week in Maynooth University.
International speaker Dr. Daniel Shepard from the Center for the Study of Global Change, Indiana University ( USA,) will join us remotely to discuss a newly developed transnational Community of Practice for teachers of displaced learners/ refugee students.
In addition, the SALaM Ireland research team will present their findings on facilitators and barriers to integration for refugee students in Ireland.
