Maynooth University presents Research Week 2017 (19th – 26th October 2017), a celebration of research undertaken by the professors, lecturers, postdoctoral researchers and undergraduate and postgraduate students across all our faculties, institutes and centres.

This is an opportunity to see the value and impact of Maynooth research up close, with a host of exciting and creative events running throughout the week including keynote speakers, workshops, IGNITE and symposia both on and off campus. There is a wide range of posters on display plus a Speakers’ Corner featuring a number of short 3-5 minute talks on the engaged (community-engaged) research being conducted in a number of departments and disciplines throughout the university, including strong representation from the Department of Psychology.

An important event on engaged research took place on Tuesday 24th October (3-5pm) in the Library foyer. This was organised by Professor Sinead McGilloway and Professor Mary Corcoran (Sociology) in collaboration with the Research and Development Office.
